Rapid International Exhibit at ConExpo 2005, Las Vegas

 

Rapid International Ltd has just recently returned from exhibiting at the ConExpo show in Las Vegas, 15th – 19th March. This is one of the world’s largest exhibitions for the construction equipment, aggregates and mixed concrete industries, showcasing the latest equipment, services and technologies.

Rapid International Ltd salesmen worked alongside their American distributors, Standley Batch Systems and Rapid Int USA Inc exhibiting Rapid products. The main products on show were the Rapid Mix 400 mobile continuous plant, the Rapid Planetary Mixer, the RP375 and also the new Rapid Jetwash system which has proved to be a big hit in the UK so far and Rapid are keen to launch it on the US market.

There was a lot of interest from all over the world from countries such as Mexico and India.
Rapid International’s products have proved to be very popular in the US market over the years and exports to the States from Northern Ireland have increased steadily and with the enthusiasm of Rapid’s distributors, continue to do so.

This year’s ConExpo 2005 was the biggest so far with more than 123,270 industry professionals from around the world attending and more than 1.88 million net square feet of exhibit space taken by 1,968 exhibiting companies. Internationally, there were more than 20,900 attendees from 131 countries, which worked out as17 percent of the total.
"Our exhibit space is the highest we've ever had," said Dennis Slater, president of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, one of the trade show's owners. "And, we were only stopped by the fact that we ran out of space to sell."
