From modest beginnings in 1973, the Quinn Group has grown into one of Ireland’s top companies with a track record of success in the diverse industries it has ventured into. One of
these industries is the ever-growing concrete and quarry products manufactured at Derrylin, Co.Fermanagh. This is further complemented by another concrete products manufacturing plant in Williamstown, Co. Galway which services the west of Ireland.

Rapid recently installed a new R3000 Pan mixer into the new Readymix plant at Derrylin, Co. Fermanagh and the benefits were quick to be seen. Catriona McGorman of Quinn Group states that, “there is a much quicker batching time now compared to previously which has allowed us to increase our daily output. The wear associated with the lorries in particular the mixer drums have been reduced greatly as well as overall maintenance of the lorry.” She also goes on to add, “Ex-pit production has being made more efficient with the fact that it is a wet batch system, therefore the concrete doesn’t need to be mixed using a lorry first.”
