Rapid’s transport division began 3 years ago and was mainly used for the movement of our own products. We found that one of the main benefits of transporting our own products is knowing exactly where it is and what time it will arrive on site as downtime can be very costly. It is about being able to guarantee delivery to customers on time, without depending on third parties.
We were delighted to add a new vehicle to the fleet earlier this year. This was due, not only to the increase of our own products, but also to the increasing number of outside haulage contracts which we were receiving on a regular basis.
