1. About the Graduate to Export Programme (Invest NI)
This role is offered as part of the Graduate to Export Programme, a strategic
initiative supported by Invest Northern Ireland. The programme offers
ambitious graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in
international business, while contributing directly to export growth in key
markets.
As part of this programme:
• Graduates undertake a fully funded Postgraduate Diploma in
International Marketing, delivered by Ulster University.

International Sales Executive (Germany)

3. Role Purpose
To support the expansion of Rapid International Ltd’s dealer network and customer base inDACH region by identifying and developing market opportunities, sales opportunities, building strong relationships, and promoting the company’s range of mixing technology and mixing solutions.
4. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-market research and competitor analysis to identify sales
- Understand local legislation especially around construction material use, recycling and land
- Identify and discuss with in-market specifiers and geo-technical engineering consultingcompanies on best practice and future
- Build relationships with prospective customers
- Identify and establish a suitable dealer network in DACH
- Support existing customer relationships and act as a liaison between HQ and local clients.
- Attend relevant trade shows and networking events in Germany and the wider DACH
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients and industry influencers.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to refine products and marketing

5. Essential Criteria
- Recently graduated (within past 5 years) with a degree in Business, InternationalMarketing, Engineering, or a related
- Fluent in both German and English (spoken and written).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Germany for the duration of the
- Demonstrated interest in sales, international business, or export
- Valid UK/Irish/EU passport or visa that permits work and travel within
- Pre-existing legal status to live and work inNorthern Ireland
6. Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience (e.g., placement, internship, or part-time work) in a B2B sales orengineering
- Knowledge of the construction or manufacturing sector.

JOB TITLE: Engineering Quality & Dispatch Coordinator
Job Overview:
RAPID International are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Engineering Quality and Dispatch Coordinator to coordinate and undertake quality inspection and dispatch operations. This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and organisational skills to ensure products meet strict quality standards and are dispatched efficiently and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Coordination:
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure product compliance.
- Ensure all products comply with internal specifications and customer requirements.
- Lead quality inspection activities across production processes and final product output.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards.
- Monitor quality performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain inspection and testing records, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and quality documentation.
Dispatch Coordination:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate all dispatch activities to ensure timely delivery of equipment
- Lead labelling, packing, and loading operations in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Liaise with logistics and transport teams to ensure smooth dispatch processes
- Maintain accurate dispatch documentation
- Manage communication with site teams regarding delivery timelines, shipment status, and concerns.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean principles).

Role

Personal Description
Rapid International are recruiting an experienced, mechanical design engineer to work in our highly innovative design team. The successful candidate must be driven, with an eye for detail orientated drawings and must be able to integrate well in a team as well as being able to work alone.
Job Description
- Designing detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models for highly innovative mixing plants
- Building BOM and components lists for equipment
- Involved in R&D of new products and improving current products
- Carry out FEA analysis on structural steel buildings for mixing plants
- Ensuring all manuals and technical data sheets are kept up to date in line with drawings
Essential Criteria
- Hold secondary education (BEng or Similar) in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering discipline.
- Have a minimum of 4 years experience within a similar role
- Be proficient in 3D CAD systems (preferably Creo)
Desired Criteria
- Prior experience within a heavy engineering business
- Good understanding of the concrete/quarrying industry
